AMPAC-M: AMPAC-M is a zwitterionic buffer used in column protein purification and gel electrophoresis, as well as in immunoassay kits and in combination with other lower pKa buffers for fermentations. Its fungal resistance helps control opportunistic fungal strains that may be present in fermentation. Its pKa of 9.9 is higher than the physiological range buffers.
AMPAC-M50: AMPAC-M50 is a zwitterionic buffer that does not increase the pH beyond the 7–8 range prior to neutralization. Because it is fungal resistant but water soluble, neutralizing AMPAC-M50 with a water soluble zinc salt will render AMPAC-M50 insoluble and greatly enhance the fungal resistance of coatings.
BIS-TRIS: Bis-Tris is a well-known buffer suitable used in fermentations, column protein purification, and gel electrophoresis, as well as in immunoassay kits. The pKa of 6.6 is in the physiological range that many proteins require during purification.
MAC-M: MAC-M is a zwitterionic buffer suitable used in column protein purification and gel electrophoresis, as well as immunoassay kits. The pKa of 7.9 is in the physiological range that many proteins require during purification.
